Human Rights Heroes

This is an open and free web event and it invite all people who care about human rights as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to participate.

It seeks nominations of individuals or organizations who have made a substantial contribution to the advancement of human rights and justice.

Nominees may be from any country and of any age.

For each focus area, applicants should propose nominees that have made a significant contribution to the advancement of human rights or justice in that field.

Nominees can be individuals or nonprofit organizations.

Nomination requirements are few in order to encourage innovation and participation.

It seeks nominations of individuals or organizations that have made a significant contribution to the advancement of human rights.

However, this does not mean that your nominee need be a famous activist, or work for an organization similar to Global Exchange.
