Funded Trips to Germany for Groups of Foreign Students: The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) funds Concert and Orchestra Trips to Germany for groups of foreign students headed by university teachers.

Funding Objectives:

  • Concerts (performed as far as possible with students from the respective German partner university) and delivering subject-related insights and knowledge by means of appropriate visits, tours and information meetings in the higher education sector.
  • Meetings with German students, musicians, and researchers to establish, maintain and foster contacts between foreign and German universities.
  • To acquire a greater understanding of Germany, its geography and history, including insights into cultural and political life in Germany.

    Scholarship Benefits

The DAAD Grant is provided as project funding in the form of a flat-rate sum of 50 Euros per participant and day as a subsidy towards the travel and subsistence costs.

The DAAD assumes that the universities or other financial sponsors will share the overall costs, so that the personal contribution for participants remains reasonable.

Scholarship Term The maximum funding term is 12 days (including travel days), whereby the trips may last longer. Follow the links below for more details and application contacts.
