Frederick Bonnart-Braunthal Scholarship at University College London 

Frederick Bonnart-Braunthal Scholarships are aimed at tackling the causes and consequences of intolerance, and are intended for students who plan to explore the nature of religious, racial and cultural prejudices and to find ways of combating them.

Up to two scholarships may be awarded annually.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be

  • Prospective M.Phil./PhD students from any country,
  • Admitted for full-time MPhil/PhD research in any department of UCL,
  • Intending to pursue research relevant to the aim of the scholarship.

    Selection Criteria

    Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and potential. Financial circumstances are not taken into account. Value: Benefits and Duration

    The value of each award is £12,000 per annum, tenable for years 1, 2 and 3 of an MPhil/PhD programme, subject to annual renewal.

    Application Procedure and Deadline

    Complete applications along with required documentation as detailed in the form must be received by UCL Scholarships no later than 1st March before the start of the relevant academic session.

    Short-listed candidates will be asked for interview.
