Education Evaluator

Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo

Management Systems International (MSI) is a global international development firm based in Washington, D.C. providing specialized short- and long-term technical assistance.

The education evaluator will work with USAID-Kinshasa education and program team members to conduct evaluations of the various education projects funded by the Mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with USAID education and program staff on evaluation design and development.
  • Develop evaluation methodology, workplan and instruments.
  • Conduct evaluation fieldwork.
  • Develop evaluation report.

    Qualifications:

  • M.A. in international comparative education or related social science field, PhD a plus:
  • 10 years of experience in the field of education evaluation;
  • Previous experience leading education evaluations in Francophone Africa, previous experience in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) a plus;
  • Fluency in French, both written and spoken;
  • Experience working on USAID-supported education initiatives;
  • The ability to travel and work from the field.
