Education Evaluator

Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo

Management Systems International (MSI) is a global international development firm based in Washington, D.C. providing specialized short- and long-term technical assistance.

The education evaluator will work with USAID-Kinshasa education and program team members to conduct evaluations of the various education projects funded by the Mission.

Responsibilities:

Interface with USAID education and program staff on evaluation design and development.

Develop evaluation methodology, workplan and instruments.

Conduct evaluation fieldwork.

Develop evaluation report.

Qualifications:

M.A. in international comparative education or related social science field, PhD a plus:

10 years of experience in the field of education evaluation;

Previous experience leading education evaluations in Francophone Africa, previous experience in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) a plus;

Fluency in French, both written and spoken;

Experience working on USAID-supported education initiatives;

The ability to travel and work from the field.
