Creating Economic Growth in Africa Conference

The Africa Commission is organizing a thematic conferences in October.

The conferences will take place in Kampala, Uganda.

The conferences will bring together regionally anchored representatives from universities, research institutions, civil society (including youth and women’s groups), relevant regional and international organizations, NGO's, the private sector (including representatives from unions and employers’ associations), public and governmental representatives and think tanks.

After the conferences, the interventions from plenum and the recommendations from the various working groups will be consolidated into a conference paper.

The paper will be published on the web and distributed widely. It will, of course, also feed into the Commission’s future work and recommendations.
