College of Technology Student Scholarships

Target: KCSE graduates interested in pursuing technology and engineering courses in Japan.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Kenyan born between April 2, and April 1,
  • Under 21 years of age on 1 April
  • KCSE A Minus including at least A Minus in English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

    Fields of Study:

    Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Nautical Science and Marine Engineering.

    NB: College of Technology is not university. A few applicants may have their scholarship extended to bachelor’s degree subject to screening, good performance and other factors. But there is no prior guarantee for such extension.

    How to Apply:

    Prospective applicants should read the details carefully and obtain FREE application forms (documents to be submitted together with the form are listed on the application form).

    Application forms can be picked from the Japan Information and Culture Centre situated within the premises of the Embassy of Japan along Mara Road, Upper Hill in Nairobi or downloaded.

    The form and the documents may be hand delivered or posted but must be received to the Scholarships Desk before the deadline: 5 pm on Friday May 8.

    Applicants are advised to apply long before the deadline.
