Chatham House Internships:

Chatham House was founded in and granted its Royal Charter in 1926 and its mission is to be a world-leading source of independent analysis, informed debate and influential ideas on how to build a prosperous and secure world for all.

Chatham House intern ships: There are three intern ships available:

  • Members Events intern
  • Africa Programme intern
  • Middle East and North Africa Programme intern - Yemen Forum

    The Africa Programme at Chatham House is looking for an individual with demonstrated interest in African affairs to support the work of the Africa Programme.

    Requirements:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills;
  • Graduate or post graduate student in international relations, development studies, or another related field;
  • An academic interest in African affairs;
  • Knowledge of computer programs such as Excel and Access.

    The placement would be for a period of three months, 2.5 days a week.

    This position is unpaid.

    The successful applicant would have access to almost all relevant meetings within the Institute on a variety of international affairs related topics, free lunch at Chatham House and free use of the library.

    Travel to and from work within London zones 1 - 3 will be paid for.
