Capacity Building Fellowships: The German Development Corporation (GDC) through theDeutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GmbH)(GIZ) is pleased to announce fellowships in the Capacity Building for Effective Health (CBEH) programme.

The Objective of these fellowships is to strengthen capacities of individuals and institutions to tackle core problem areas of the health system.

The fellowships are open to candidates from both public and private sectors in Kenya and Tanzania.

The current call for applications will award six fellowships for a 42 week in-service training in Human Resources for Health which will include seminars and study tours in Europe (2 weeks) and two three day international workshop in Vietnam and Tanzania.

Upon completion of training, fellows will be expected to use their newly acquired skills to carry out on the job implementation of practical solutions to problems identified during the training.

They will also be expected to join the GIZ alumni network and be active members.
