Cambridge Mandela Scholarships for South Africa:

In collaboration with the Malaysian Commonwealth Studies Centre, Cambridge Assessment (formerly LES), Trinity College, Cambridge and the Cambridge University Press, in honour of former President Mr Nelson Mandela, up to ten scholarships offered annually for courses of research leading to the degree of PhD, up to twenty scholarships offered annually for one-year postgraduate courses, for students from South Africa, in subjects relevant to South Africa's needs.

Normally have a first-class degree or its equivalent from a recognised university.

Value of Scholarships:

The scholarships will normally cover up to

The University Composition Fee at the appropriate rate

Approved College fees

A maintenance allowance sufficient for a single student

A contribution towards a return economy airfare by the cheapest available route

Deadline: 15th December
