CPN Fellowships to Europe for Young African Scientists engaged in proposal writing

The CPN Africa Project is an EU-funded network that encourages scientific collaboration between Africa and Europe in the area of poverty related and neglected diseases.

An important component of the CPN-Network is the establishment of Regional and Local Contact Points in African Countries whose role it to encourage and support young African scientists in preparing and submitting applications for collaborative research projects and networks within the frame of the European Research Framework Programme (FP 7).

The information and consultation work of the Contact Points is complemented with a scheme of fellowships for young African Scientists willing to participate in European Union funded projects.

The CPN Africa Project is pleased to announce that 8 fellowships are being offered to young African Scientists engaged in proposal writing for submission in response to the recent call of Theme 1-HEALTH-of FP7 having the deadline of September 18th.
