Bursary in Primary Care

Funding for three years to cover Home/EU fees for PhD registration (Non-EU students would be required to pay the additional overseas fees (currently £7,000pa) themselves) and a research studentship stipend of currently £12,600 per annum.

In addition to a relevant Honours - ideally a 2:1 or higher - or Master's degree and a knowledge of health, you will need strong literacy and writing skills and an understanding of qualitative research.

Your logical, scientific and questioning approach must be balanced by excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and a commitment to principled, ethical research.

You should be able to work well in a team, have experience of literature searching and reviewing, using qualitative methods such as interviews, report writing and the use of data organisation and analysis packages (such as NVivo) would be an advantage.
