1. Eiffel Scholarships (Masters and PhD) - France

Eiffel scholarships are awarded to foreign students for study in France towards a PhD or master’s degree, primarily in three areas: engineering, economics & management, law & political science. Click here for details.

2. 61 MSc and MBA Scholarships on offer at Nyenrode Business Universiteit - Netherlands

At least 61 scholarships will be available at Nyenrode Business Universiteit in 2007-2008. Each scholarship has a value of €10,000 and is awarded to students entering one of Nyenrode’s Master Programs. Click here for details.

3. Swiss Management Center Master and Doctoral Scholarships - Switzerland

The Swiss Management Center considers applications of candidates who prove sustained academic excellence and dedicates partial or full assistance to waive off the tuition fees and related academic materials. Click here for details.

4. Global Journalism Scholarships - Sweden

There are a limited number of full Global Journalism Scholarships on offer from the Swedish Development Agency and the Swedish Institute for needy and deserving students. The scholarships are for study at Örebro University. These cover travel, accommodation, insurance and other living expenses during the time spent in Sweden. Click here for details.

5. Funds Available to Foreign Graduate Applicants at Yeungnam University - Korea

International applicants who have completed or will complete a bachelor`s degree from regular colleges prior to admission and have a record that indicates good potential for advanced study and research in one of the disciplines at Yeungnam University are eligible for full funding. 6. Management of Logistics and Transportation Scholarships - Sweden

The Swedish Institute offers full scholarships for International Masters in Management of Logistics and Transportation. This is for study at Chalmers University of Technology Sweden. Click here for details.

7. Agris Mundus Master in Sustainable Development in Agriculture Scholarships - For study in several European countries

The Agris Mundus Master in Sustainable Development in Agriculture Scholarships are provided by the Erasmus Mundus programme of the European Union. Scholarships are offered to select non European candidates. The amount is 21000 Euros per year which should cover the living costs, transportation costs and subscription fees. 8. EADB Graduate Scholarship in Development Studies - For study in East Africa

This EADB Graduate Scholarship in Development Studies programme offers three (3) scholarships each year to citizens of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda who wish to pursue studies leading to a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Development Studies in a recognized institution of higher learning in East Africa. 9. International Organizations MBA Scholarships - Switzerland

The University of Geneva and UNU share a strong commitment to capacity development, especially aiming to enhance the capacity of individuals and institutions in developing countries. Therefore, in line with UNU's capacity-development focus, the University of Geneva will offer two UNU fellowships on the 2007/2008 IOMBA intake. Click here for details.

10.MSc in Water Resources and Livelihood Security Scholarships - Sweden

The Swedish Institute offers a few Master of Science in Water Resources and Livelihood Security Scholarships to students from developing countries. The scholarships are for study at Linköping University, Sweden. Click here for details.

11. Electric Power Engineering Scholarships (Masters) - Sweden

The Swedish Institute offers Electric Power Engineering Scholarships to foreign students of ANY nationality. These grants are sufficient to cover living expenses while studying at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Click here for details.

12. Friedrich Miescher Institute PhD Scholarships - Switzerland

Applications are invited for internally funded PhD student fellowships at the FMI in Basel, Switzerland. Financial support is in accordance with the scale of the Swiss National Science Foundation. Your income will be generous relative to international standards for PhD students. Click here for details.

13. PhD Studentship in Computer Vision - UK

This is a three year studentship (reviewed annually) open to EU and non-EU citizens. The successful applicant will receive an annual stipend of around £12,500 plus normal fees (non-EU citizens will be eligible to receive up to an additional £4,000 p.a. to help them pay the difference between home and overseas fees, so they will be expected to make a personal contribution of £2,000 p.a. towards fees). 14. Human Rights Essay Competition

45 essayists will be selected by an international jury and invited to join the international conference and workshops in Berlin from February 15th – 20th 2007. Click here for details.

15. PhD Positions New Media - Netherlands

The Department of Philosophy of the University of Twente in the Netherlands is looking for Two Ph.D. Students (M/F, fulltime). Each Ph.D. position comes with a budget of up to € 8,000,- for travel and conference attendance. Click here for details.

16. Funded Postgraduate Opportunities - Ireland

Opportunities for funded research postgraduate studies are offered at Waterford Institute of Technology in the following areas: Computing/Electronics, Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Construction Management, Business & Humanities. Click here for details.

17. 10 Full PhD Scholarships at the University of Padua - Italy

The University of Padova, Italy, sponsored by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo, will offer 10 fully funded grants for foreign (non-Italian) graduate students starting doctoral courses in January 2007. Click here for details.

18. Associated Board International Scholarships (Undergraduate & Postgraduate) - UK

Associated Board International Scholarships enable outstanding musicians to study on courses at one of the four Royal Schools of Music in the UK. Click here for details.

19. Scottish International Scholarship Programme - Scotland

The Scottish International Scholarship Programme is targeted at graduates in science, technology and the creative industries, and aims to create lasting connections between Scotland and industry leaders and entrepreneurs across the world. Click here for details.

20. Kulika Scholarship Programme - Uganda

The Kulika Scholarship Programme exists to provide an opportunity for suitable Ugandan people who do not have the necessary personal resources to gain academic or vocational qualifications which will enable them to contribute more effectively to the development of the nation. The website has a number of development job opportunities posted in the last one week.
