Job Description

  • 4P Solutions is looking to hire an efficient Janitorial Supervisor to supervise the work activities performed by our custodians.

    Requirements

  • OND / HND in any discipline is preferred.

  • Proven experience working as a Janitorial Supervisor.

  • Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.

  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Living proximity to ikejais mandatory

  • Fluent in English – reading, writing and speaking

  • Demonstrate the aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities

  • Physically fit – the role requires walking, lifting, bending and other physical abilities

  • Computer literacy advantageous

  • Valid driver’s license

    Skills:

  • Good communication skills

  • Good organizational skills

  • Able to supervise janitors

  • Honest and reliable

  • Use own initiative and be proactive

    General Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Operations Manager on a daily basis regarding current tasks, and assist in the planning of future tasks.

  • Ensure all assigned duties are carried out, and that resources are efficiently utilized.

  • Ensure that the companiespolicies and procedures are adhered to by janitors.

  • Act as a communication conduit between management and janitors.

  • Maintain and control use of stock, equipment & consumables.

  • Timeously request purchase of consumables, equipment and materials.

  • Monitor and report absenteeism to the operations Manager.


  • Ensure that all janitors are appropriately dressed.

  • Where required, gather and provide
    information on a daily, monthly and annual basis, including schedules, consumable issues and usage etc.

  • Work with members of other teams( contigency cleaning team) as required.

  • Check all equipment that require replacement items as needed.

  • Ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained in all facilities, and report shortcomings/faults to the line Manager.
