4G Capital TBusiness Development Officer Jobs in Kenya; The Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for managing distributor and sales manager relationships, ensuring the call center has up-to-date distributor customer data, and contributing to the new business efforts of 4G Capital.

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure accurate distributor customer data in region is shared on a rolling basis

Drive revenue growth in region for both new and existing distributors

Onboard new distributors through lead generation and cold calling

Ensure collections targets are met in liaison with call center agents

Research and identify new business opportunities (markets, trends, customers, partnerships)

Seek out Key Decision Maker (KDM) contacts in existing and new distributors

Provide KUZA-specific training to distributors and their staff to assist in customer conversion

Assist in marketing activities

Provide accurate and timely reporting of management information and market feedback

Perform other tasks and duties as designated by the company

Competences

Required Skills for a Business Development Officer

Minimum 5 years’ customer-facing experience in B2B or B2C business development

Sales & marketing background with FMCG experience (mandatory)

Proven leadership experience managing teams and engaging high-value distributors/manufacturers

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Strong communication skills

Proactive, energetic, and positive attitude

Strong team player with willingness to be hands-on

Enthusiasm to achieve high standards and make a difference daily

Ability to work with ambiguity

Computer literacy

Integrity and ability to lead
