3iS Information Management Systems Intern Jobs in Nigeria; The Information Management Systems Intern will support the Information Management team in collecting, processing, analyzing, visualizing, and managing data to strengthen humanitarian and development programs. The intern will gain practical experience in data analysis, GIS, reporting, and digital solutions while working alongside experienced professionals on donor‑funded projects.

Key Responsibilities

Information Management Support

  • Collect, clean, validate, and organize program data.

  • Support maintenance and updating of information management systems.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness.

  • Document processes and SOPs.

    Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Assist in analyzing program data for decision‑making.

  • Prepare reports, factsheets, and information products.

  • Generate summary statistics, tables, and charts.

  • Compile project indicators and monitoring data.

    GIS & Data Visualization

  • Produce maps and geospatial products using GIS software.

  • Develop dashboards, charts, and visualizations with Power BI or similar tools.

  • Prepare infographics and visual products for teams and partners.

    Database & Digital Systems

  • Maintain digital data collection platforms (KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO).

  • Support testing and deployment of digital forms.

  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues.

  • Support data backup, storage, and documentation.

    Learning & Team Support

  • Participate in meetings, technical discussions, and capacity‑building sessions.

  • Support administrative and operational tasks.

  • Learn new tools and technologies proactively.

    Qualifications

    Education

  • Recent graduate with Bachelor’s in relevant field.

    Experience

  • Up to 1 year of relevant work, internship, or academic projects.

  • Interest in humanitarian and development programming desirable.

    Technical Skills

  • Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge
    of Power BI or Tableau desirable.

  • Familiarity with KoboToolbox, ODK, or SurveyCTO an advantage.

  • Basic knowledge of GIS software (ArcGIS/QGIS) desirable.

  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R an added advantage.

    Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality.

  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

  • Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Good written and verbal communication in English.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
