3iS Communication Intern (Design & Visualization) Jobs in Nigeria; The Communication Intern (Design & Visualization) will support the team in developing engaging visual materials that communicate project activities, training content, and key data. Working under the guidance of the Information Management Officer, the intern will gain practical experience in graphic design, data visualization, and organizational communications.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design Support

  • Assist in designing presentations, training materials, posters, banners, and handouts.

  • Support development of visual content for workshops and meetings.

  • Create simple illustrations, icons, and layouts using branding guidelines.

    Data Visualization

  • Develop infographics, charts, and simple dashboards.

  • Support preparation of maps and visual products with the Information Management team.

  • Organize visual assets and maintain design templates.

    Communication Materials

  • Support design of reports, factsheets, newsletters, and social media posts.

  • Assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders.

  • Edit and format documents for readability and appeal.

    Branding & Content Management

  • Ensure products follow 3iS and donor branding requirements.

  • Organize and maintain a library of communication materials.

  • Support updates to communication platforms and shared resources.

    Learning & Team Support

  • Participate in team meetings and capacity‑building activities.

  • Support other communication and administrative tasks.

  • Demonstrate willingness to learn new design and visualization tools.

    Requirements

    Education

  • Recent graduate (within 1–2 years) with Bachelor’s in relevant field.

    Experience

  • Previous internships, volunteer experience, academic projects, or freelance work in design/communications.

  • Interest in humanitarian and development work desirable.

    Technical Skills

  • Basic proficiency in Canva and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative
    Suite an advantage.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, ArcGIS, or QGIS desirable.

    Soft Skills

  • Creative mindset and willingness to learn.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

  • Ability to receive feedback and collaborate.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
