Morning pick up from your hotel followed by a scenic drive to Nakuru. A stop will be made for the stunning views at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley.

A lunch stop will follow in Nakuru. Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park to view flamingoes and other water birds. There are excellent chances of spotting the white rhino. Lake Nakuru National Park contains a sanctuary for the conservation the rare white rhino.

About Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most visited amongst the Great Rift Valley Lakes. You can experience it in a day safari or an overnight safari stopover.

Lake Nakuru is world famous as the feeding grounds of both lesser and greater flamingos. These can be distinguished by size and color.

The lesser flamingo has a deep carmine red bill. The greater flamingo has a pink one with a black tip. The lesser flamingo also has a deeper pink plumage.

At their peak season, there are more than a million flamingos at the lake. Ornithologists describe the flamingo "the most fabulous bird spectacle in the world."

In addition to the flamingo, more than 400 species of birds can be seen in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Animals present at Lake Nakuru include hippos, reedbucks, waterbucks, black rhinos, white rhinos, rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, bushbucks.

Large pythons inhabit the dense woodland. These and can smetimes be seen crossing the roads or dangling from trees.
