  • Wylde seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist. He/she will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of program monitoring and evaluation frameworks and information systems to track delivery against targets, outcomes, and impacts.

    Duties and responsibilities

  • Lead analysis of data collected for assessment of progress and areas of improvement.

  • Guide reporting processes and consolidate program reports.

  • Promote learning and knowledge sharing of best practices and lessons learnt.

  • Support and manage the technical staff in the M&E function.

  • Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation procedures.

  • Monitor all project activities, expenditures, and progress towards achieving the project output.

  • Develop monitoring and impact indicators for project success.

  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.

  • Monitor the sustainability of the project’s results.

  • Provide feedback to the Project Management on project strategies and activities.

  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest strategies for improving the efficiency of the project.

  • Report on all project activities.

  • Participate
    in annual project reviews and planning workshops.

  • Organize and conduct training on M&E.

  • Prepare reports on the findings and lessons learned from project innovations.

  • Prepare and maintain database.

    Person’s Specifications:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline, such as mathematics, business, statistics.

  • At least three years of experience designing and implementing M&E activities.

  • Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing M&E systems that track performance.

  • Excellent analytical skills to measure the outcomes of the project’s activities.

  • Strong writing and organizational skills for monitoring and reporting.

  • Very strong communication skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of monitoring and the application of methodology: good understanding of capacity assessment methodologies.

  • Ability to lead implementation of new systems, and affect staff behavioural/attitudinal change.
