    Role overview

  • Working at project location – In this role, you will provide on-site support in the project location and/or VSO office, (full-time unless otherwise specified) for a set period of time.

  • Work closely with each of the 7 Challenge Fund implementing partners and the CFYE team to: Act as in-country thematic advisor on Decent work, counterpart to the Decent work Thematic lead, based in the CFYE team. Carry out an in-depth MEL baseline research for each of the 7 proposed projects, focusing on Decent work,
    ensuring that progress and deliverables can be tracked throughout the project’s life cycle.

  • Assess the Implementing partner’s capability and capacity to implement their intended Decent work strategies and advise on the need for additional technical assistance needs to be provided by the CFYE consortium. Provide technical support to the implementing partners on Decent work strategies and implementation according to agreed TA plan.

  • Provide technical support in the design and carry out of Decent work analysis, drafting recommendations, interventions and action plans – as needed.

  • Provide technical support in the design and carry-out of Decent work sensitization and Decent work-targeted trainings – at the organizational, community and/or household level(s), as needed

  • Experience in Months: 60

  • Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
