United Nations Environment Programme Outreach and Engagement Consultant Jobs in Kenya; UNEP’s Communications Division is seeking a dynamic self‑starter to support outreach and engagement for key campaigns and editorial content.
The consultant will work under the supervision of the Head Writer to maximize campaign reach, produce multimedia content, and develop partnerships that elevate UNEP’s science and messaging globally.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and support recruitment of influencers for World Environment Day and related campaigns.

  • Produce multimedia content in support of UNEP campaigns.

  • Develop partnerships to strengthen campaign impact.

  • Identify opportunities to highlight UNEP’s science and content.

    Qualifications & Special Skills

  • University degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in outreach, content creation, or campaign management.

  • Strong multimedia production skills.

  • Ability to build partnerships and networks.

    Languages
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required.
