United Nations Environment Programme Intern - Information Technology (IT) Jobs in Kenya
Duties and Responsibilities
Support preparation of website updates (adding/editing accredited organizations, uploading documents, editing civil society webpages).
Support registration processes for meetings, including participant lists.
Develop and conduct client satisfaction surveys, analyze results, and provide feedback.
Draft accreditation memos for organizations requesting accreditation.
Support communications with UNEP Major Groups and Stakeholders.
Assist in day‑to‑day management of internal databases.
Perform other tasks as requested.
Qualifications & Special Skills
Undergraduate studies in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Data Science, or Cyber Security.
No professional experience required, but field of study must be relevant.
Good knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Teams required.
Ability to draft news articles/social media posts desirable.
Ability to design surveys and polls desirable.
Languages
Fluency in spoken and written English required.
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is an advantage.
