United Nations Environment Programme Intern - Information Technology (IT)​ Jobs in Kenya



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support preparation of website updates (adding/editing accredited organizations, uploading documents, editing civil society webpages).

  • Support registration processes for meetings, including participant lists.

  • Develop and conduct client satisfaction surveys, analyze results, and provide feedback.

  • Draft accreditation memos for organizations requesting accreditation.

  • Support communications with UNEP Major Groups and Stakeholders.

  • Assist in day‑to‑day management of internal databases.

  • Perform other tasks as requested.

    Qualifications & Special Skills

  • Undergraduate studies in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Data Science, or Cyber Security.

  • No professional experience required, but field of study must be relevant.

  • Good knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Teams required.

  • Ability to draft news articles/social media posts desirable.

  • Ability to design surveys and polls desirable.

    Languages

  • Fluency in spoken and written English required.

  • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is an advantage.
