Reporting to the Vice President of Programs, the Country Director will be responsible for the programmatic and operational success of the Uganda country office of Tutapona. Key responsibilities:

Provide excellent leadership and oversight of the Tutapona Uganda teams

Maintain and strengthen the internal staff culture ensuring ongoing consistency with Tutapona’s Values

Ensure program delivery is at the highest quality, involving effective staff training, monitoring and evaluation

Provide careful oversight of the finance and operations departments, including adherence to established internal policies, as well as donor and partner requirements

Ensure that Tutapona remains compliant with relevant statutory requirements

Maintain and develop partner and stakeholder relationships to help mobilise sufficient resources for the sustainability of Tutapona Uganda operations

Communicate clearly and consistently with Tutapona International

This position will be supported by an experienced Kampala based Senior Leadership Team and the Tutapona International Office.
