TackleAfrica - Videographer for project video Jobs in Uganda

Closing date: 19 Aug 2019

TackleAfrica www.tackleafrica.org is looking for a videographer to produce two short end of project videos (approximately 90 seconds each) for a sexual health through football
coaching project.

A set of still photographs will also be required. The filming and photography
will take place in Kampala and Hoima, Uganda in September 2019 over five days, with all
travel expenses while on location paid for by TackleAfrica.

The Project aimed to increase the uptake of HIV Testing and Counselling services directly amongst 1,600 adolescent men and women and indirectly amongst 4,800 of their peers, relatives and fellow community members.

The project aimed to reach these beneficiaries in two areas of Uganda, Hoima and Kampala, by working with 40 new and existing football coaches to pass on messages and sexual health services using our methodology.

Video 1 Purpose: Show potential donors and partners how TackleAfrica’s "five-step sexual health through football" coaching methodology works, as it can often be hard to explain how a football represents a condom, for example.

Video 2 Purpose: To show the results of the project using interviews with coaches, players, project staff, and incorporating end of project data

A number of high quality still photographs should also be provided to TackleAfrica. These should include photographs of:

  • Coaching sessions

  • Tournaments

  • Individual players and coaches

Full TORs available to the successful candidate.

    How to Apply:

Please submit your CV, two relevant examples of your videography work and a quotation (including
total editing days and scope of video edits permitted) to Kathryn Savage
    (kathryn@tackleafrica.org) and Laura Brooks (laura@tackleafrica.org) by 19th August 2019.
