Strathmore Business School Grade 1-3 Teacher - Mathematics, Science and Technology Jobs in Kenya; Teach Mathematics as the primary subject, alongside Science and Technology, to learners in Grade 1 to Grade 3. Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality Mathematics and Science & Technology lessons for Grade 1–3 learners.

  • Design and implement learning activities aligned with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC).

  • Monitor and assess learner progress, providing timely feedback to support growth.

  • Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, performance, and development.

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support learner wellbeing and achievement.

  • Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

    Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant teaching qualification, with Mathematics as a primary specialism.

  • Valid TSC (Teachers Service Commission) registration or eligibility to register.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated competence and passion for teaching.

    Desirable

  • Prior experience teaching at Lower Primary level (Grade 1–3).

  • Familiarity with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) framework.
