Strathmore Business School Grade 1-3 Teacher - Mathematics, Science and Technology Jobs in Kenya; Teach Mathematics as the primary subject, alongside Science and Technology, to learners in Grade 1 to Grade 3. Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high‑quality Mathematics and Science & Technology lessons for Grade 1–3 learners.

Design and implement learning activities aligned with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC).

Monitor and assess learner progress, providing timely feedback to support growth.

Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, performance, and development.

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support learner wellbeing and achievement.

Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Relevant teaching qualification, with Mathematics as a primary specialism.

Valid TSC (Teachers Service Commission) registration or eligibility to register.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Demonstrated competence and passion for teaching.

Desirable

Prior experience teaching at Lower Primary level (Grade 1–3).

Familiarity with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) framework.

Personal Attributes

Patient, nurturing, and committed to the development of young learners.

Organised, reliable, and professional in approach.

Collaborative team player who upholds high standards.

Passionate about Mathematics and able to make it accessible and enjoyable for children.
