Job Purpose

  • To implement identified onboarding and entrenchment tactics that will drive increased value extraction for an allocated segment (e.g., activation, retention, adoption, digital usage, etc.).

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Implements the defined tactics and measurements in collaboration with Client Coverage teams.

  • Collaborates with Personalisation to ensure that the tactics can be executed via the NBA / Salesforce tools.

  • Collaborates with Marketing and Behavioural Economics team to define and execute on entrenchment tactics.

  • Collaborates with Client Solutions to build onboarding requirements depending on different product solutions and services.

  • Provides insights on which tactics to continue with and which to eliminat

  • Analyses the customer lifecycle and engagement with the bank – i.e. how product holding progresses overtime and at key life stages.

  • Identifies key characteristics of SBSA Customer(s)

  • Identifies key characteristics of non-SBSA customers based on direct and indirect competitors

  • Identifies the customer market penetration

  • Identifies trends on how customer behaviours are changing over time, when do they move up products etc.

  • Identifies the trends of customer acquisitions, closures, engagement and retention

  • Identifies the customers’ product holding distribution and channel interaction

  • Provides insights on retailer interactions, buying behaviours and trends.

  • Provides input into the development of personas for SBSA’s customers using
    profiling metrics such as banking behaviours, digital proficiency, online behaviours, media consumptions and psychographics

  • Monitors financial outcomes and prepares appropriate recommendations.

  • Tracks the success of the tactics implemented and understands what works and what does not

  • Adheres to the business risk and compliance matters (in line with R&C requirements) as it relates to the execution of all Onboarding and Entrenchment tactic.

    Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • 5-7 Years Experience.

  • Experience in developing and executing campaign solutions and experience in the use of analytical skills when detecting patterns, brainstorming, observing, interpreting data, and making decisions based on the multiple factors and options available.

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent.
