The company is currently manufacturing and commercializing PICS heretic storage bags and Nazava water filters.
Our consulting portfolios mainly focus in developing/implementing different value chain projects, privates sector capacity building, investment advice, project management, advising on public-private partnership models.
Currently we are looking for a young and energeticCommunication and DataOfficer who will have main role in projects communication and data sortingunder the consultancy business function.
The Communication and DataOfficer reports to the Consultancy Manager and will be based in Addis.
S/he will be traveling to different places within the country.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Communicate different projects status by using multiple routes of information
Developing and disseminating high standard quarterly project newsletters
Developing and disseminating high standard monthly project updates
Composing and sharing weekly project updates to stakeholders
Sharing status of different project using social medias like what’s app and Facebook.
Data collecting and management
Collecting relevant data from relevant sources both in persona and online.
Disseminating research questioners and other similar required information to targeted group of people.
Interviewing selected research respondents
Creating database for recurring information required by the company
Facilitating Business Meetings/Workshops/Trainings
Developing list of attendees
Inviting attendees through email, phone call and in person visitation
Arranging venue, stationary, refreshment and other
Tracking and recording attendants
Taking and reporting meeting notes
Company Banding and Promotion
Keep updating company website
Developing and disseminating company brochure
Representing the company in meetings related to promotion
Other activities in related to branding and promotion of the company
Medical and Life Insurance with limit
Excellent communication skills in Amharicand English.
Excellent English writing skill
Outstanding diplomatic, influence and persuasion skills to sell products and services.
Mastery in demonstrating personal effectiveness.
Outstanding skills in planning, organizing and reporting.
Strong analytical and critical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Champions in fostering partnership and stakeholder relationships.
Ability to perform under stress with minimal supervision and able to handle multiple tasks at a time in calm and organized manner.
Hands-on and pro-active approach.
Proven track record in project communication.
Proficient English writing and speaking skill
Designing skill by using appropriate software
Experience/basic skill in website updating
Education, Work experience and Language
BA or Master’s in Business and Economics fields,Social Science and related studies, Rural development related studies and other related fields.
At least 2 years of experience in business/project communication, data gathering and data management, project planning and implementation, research, market development and projects implementation.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Amharic languages is a must.
