Key Areas of Accountability

End User / Technical Support (40%)

  • Serve as point of contact for IT support calls and log into JIRA.

  • Assist IT Officer with roll‑out of local IT projects.

  • Provide day‑to‑day end user support on applications and systems.

  • Train users on hardware and software use.

  • Provide preventive and corrective maintenance of IT equipment.

  • Cover for IT Officer when absent.

  • Maintain IT incident reporting logs.

  • Refer major issues to vendors or technicians.

  • Install and configure new machines.

  • Support mobile data devices.

  • Ensure routine data backups and security.

  • Analyse, design, and develop web/mobile applications.

  • Consult with users on system requirements.

  • Support deployed IT innovations and T4D initiatives.

    IT Helpdesk Management (40%)

  • Maintain and log IT issues in incident reporting system.

  • Refer major hardware/software problems to vendors.

  • Ensure IT equipment functions properly and escalate failures.

  • Install and configure new machines.

  • Support mobile data devices.

  • Ensure routine backups and secure storage.

    Technology Innovations (10%)

  • Analyse, design, and develop web/mobile applications.

  • Consult with users on modifications or new deployments.

  • Support deployed IT innovations.

  • Collaborate with IT teams on T4D initiatives.

    IT Assets Management (10%)

  • Maintain asset movement tracker and issuance records.

  • Ensure software use aligns with Save the Children guidelines.

  • Ensure systems meet global IT policy standards.

  • Undertake routine maintenance of computers and
    accessories.

    Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Degree in IT/Computer Science.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Windows environments.

  • Understanding of SharePoint and Microsoft solutions.

  • Programming experience in Python & JAVA (advantage).

  • Familiarity with CoreView, Entra ID, Active Directory (advantage).

  • Familiarity with Power Automate & PowerApps.

  • Excellent spoken and written English.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work with diverse cultures and minimal supervision.
