Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work involves report defects in the County machineries, repair and maintains County machineries after inspection.

  • Care and maintenance of tools.

  • Any other duty assigned by the relevant Head of the Department.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment for this grade, a Candidate must have: -

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (plus) or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.

  • Motor Vehicle Mechanic National Trade Test Certificate III, apprentice Certificate awarded by the directorate of Industrial Training or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution.

    Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity.

  • Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation

  • Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)

  • Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)

  • Clearance from the Ethics &Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)

  • Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
