Sales Executive Jobs - Financial Services Gap

  • Our client is a financial services company.

  • They seek to hire a Sales executive who will be tasked with building and cultivating relationships with potential/existing customers and translate those relationships into profitable business for the organization


  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of strategies necessary to acquire and sustain customers in the commercial sector of the market

  • Maintain a comprehensive database of existing relationships/prospects

  • Identify customer needs/buyer values and proactively seek to provide products/ services to meet the identified needs

  • Review applications for credit facility (in line with the organization’s policy) and make appropriate recommendations/decisions

  • Manage assigned credit portfolio and monitor the quality of existing credit relationships on a continuous basis

  • Analyze and screen applications for credit based on the organization’s credit risk procedures

  • Initiate and carry out recovery action on non-performing credit facilities on assigned accounts

  • Regularly contact customers via telephone calls and physical marketing visits to obtain feedback on service quality and customer satisfaction levels

  • Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and issues

  • Assist customers Participate in subsidiary and other team meetings

  • Act on behalf of and perform other tasks as assigned by the Relationship Manager

  • Quality of credit portfolio maintained
    Number of Performing/Non-performing Loans and Advances

  • Loan
    loss Provision/Total Loans and Advances
    % average net yield on commercial credit before losses

  • Quality of customer base

  • Standard profit per customer

  • Increase in wallet share per relationship

  • Dormant/Inactive customer ratio

  • Revenue/customer growth rate

  • Timely update and accuracy of customer records

  • % of retained customers

  • Customer satisfaction index

  • % of loan recovery

  • Quality of cross selling initiatives

  • Deep market knowledge

  • Accuracy and timeliness in preparation of management reports


  • Degree/Diploma in any field

  • Minimum of 2 years cognate experience in the financial services industry

  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in spoken English
