  • The Sales & Business Development Manager will be responsible for accomplishing sales and business development activities by researching and developing opportunities and plans.

  • The incumbent will also be responsible for implementing the business development and sales plans, managing sales staff and providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.

    Principal Accountabilities

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.

  • Communicating with customers, evaluating their needs and handling any queries and complaints from them.

  • Checking quotations and specifications against customer requirements & approving them. Also approving and providing discounts for quotations.

  • Liaising with suppliers for pricing and queries.

  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships while ensuring profitability on sales.

  • Tracking sales versus targets and budgets as agreed with the Director.

  • Managing clients’ payment process, ensuring they abide by the payment terms and following up on payments as required.

  • Working with the sales team to build the product offering, stocks and general sales tools as may be required.

  • Supervising the sales team on their performance and coaching them on product and technical knowledge.

  • Perform any other duties that may
    be assigned from time to time.

    Key Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or any related field.

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in Sales & Business Development in a supervisory level.

  • Experience in a furniture company or furniture related industries will be highly preferred.

  • Must have a strong background in customer relationship management.

  • Excellent prospecting skills.

  • Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices.
