Ado You Want to Be a Young Leader With Restless Development Uganda on the Get Up Speak Out (Guso) Programme?

Restless Development is the global agency for youth-led development that supports young people to demand and deliver a just and sustainable world for all. Our work is guided by four goals set out by young people.

We work to make sure that young people have a voice (active citizens), realize sexual reproductive health and rights (SRH&R), and are leaders in preventing and solving the world’s challenges.

Restless Development is implementing the Get Up Speak Out programme, an integrated programme which builds on Restless Development’s youth-led model of social and behavioral change with the ultimate aim of increasing access to SRH&R information and services.

The programme is implemented in selected sub counties in the districts of Jinja and Mayuge. To effectively implement this programme, we need your support.

Are you a Ugandan aged 18-28?

Restless Development Uganda is recruiting enthusiastic and self-motivated young adults with a minimum of Senior Six qualification to volunteer on the GUSO programme.

Selected young leaders will participate in an intensive one-week training designed to equip them with the technical skills and knowledge to deliver the Sexual reproductive health and rights education, Entrepreneurship and active citizenship sessions for in and out of school youth.

The candidates should be interested in contributing to improving youth sexual reproductive health, youth-led research and advocacy, and should be passionate about edutainment i.e. music, dance and drama. You will leave and work full-time in your respective communities for a period of 7 months.
