Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee an organization’s sales policies, objectives and initiatives. Set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.

  • Communicate with clients to understand their sales goals and objectives.

  • Identify current sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.

  • Monitor and report on KPIs regularly.

  • Identify opportunities for product and service up-sell.

  • Identify opportunities for new client acquisition.

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its’ strong presence.

  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.

  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the region; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

  • Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.

  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.

  • Create compelling sales pitches.

  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to
    the management team.

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor/ Masters degree in sales, marketing and/or business administration or a related field.

  • 5 year experience as sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Ability to hire and train new sales representatives.

  • Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences.

  • Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

  • Experience of religiously using a CRM.

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
