Privatisation Authority Assistant Director, Corporate Communications Jobs in Kenya



Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development and implementation of corporate communication policies, strategies, and plans.

  • Guide preparation and management of departmental budget.

  • Coordinate corporate social responsibility programmes.

  • Manage media relations and inquiries to protect the organization’s image.

  • Lead planning and management of corporate events (conferences, seminars, public engagements).

  • Guide creation of high‑quality content across platforms ensuring consistency in branding.

  • Champion public relations campaigns and outreach efforts.

  • Coordinate internal communication strategies for effective information flow.

  • Implement quality management system procedures for efficiency.

  • Oversee development and review of strategic plan, vision, mission, and objectives.

  • Establish and strengthen collaborations with government, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate formulation, monitoring, and review of budgets, procurement, performance contracts, and reports.

  • Supervise and mentor staff to foster a high‑performing workforce.

  • Implement risk management policies and frameworks.

  • Guide development and review of Citizen Service Delivery Charter.

  • Foster corporate culture of integrity, professionalism, and good governance.

  • Oversee corruption prevention and mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure implementation of corporate governance principles and national policies.

  • Coordinate management of public complaints, information access requests, and awareness initiatives.
