  • We are looking for a suitable candidate to set up, manage and maintain PSI’s Clinical Management System (Sanitas CMS), System’s network and server infrastructure, coupled with both internal and external user support under the TUNZA project .

    Your contribution
  • Coordination of new facility installations and end user training including collaboration with system developers, configuration of datasets and programs,
  • development of analytics dashboards and reports and setting up system security and user roles.
  • Install, Configure, Manage and maintain PSI’s Clinical Management System in all participating Network facilities.
  • Provide project management support for systems implementation to ensure that the system is delivered within required timelines.
  • Manage communication and expectations throughout and after the system deployment process.
  • Manage the user experience testing processes and ensure feedback from users acknowledged and issues addressed within the shortest time.
  • Escalate all unhandled system issues to developers and follow through solution for the Client facilities.
  • Provide help-desk support by responding to and resolving support requests within the required timelines.
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter.
  • Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems.
  • Provide end user training to the clients (Participating network clinics).
  • Manage and maintain the facilities’ IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure that all systems are backed up and up to date.
  • Setup and maintain facilities’ LAN and WAN.
  • System Backups and recovery.
  • Printer, Laptop, PC servicing and maintenance.
  • Offer 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT support for all users.
  • Review application logs.

    Qualifications
  • Bachelors’ degree in computer science, Information Technology, information Systems Other related field equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Linux A+ Certified or LPIC 1 Certifications will be an added advantage.

    Experience
  • Linux server management. Candidate should possess good knowledge of the Linux operating system.
  • Proven experience working with hypervisor-based environments.
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support roles in previous employment.
  • Supporting Windows 7, 8 and 10 Desktop environments in previous role.
  • Domain, LAN and WAN management and administration.
  • Basic understanding of configuring and maintaining of any firewall system.
  • Backup solution coupled with experience in setting up DR cold site as well as high availability systems is a must.
  • Printer, Laptop, PC servicing and maintenance.
  • Earlier exposure to the DHIS2 will be an advantage to the candidate.

  • Accurate system reports into DHIS2.

  • Ability to work with remote teams to provide support over email, phone and remote logon.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical skills & structured approach to work.
  • Willingness to work long or irregular hours.
