Job Description

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Technical knowledge of market analytics including building, implementing and analyzing market research studies and quantitative models to inform global or developing country decision-making, e.g. demand forecasts and impact models.
  • Demonstrated skills to perform detail-oriented work with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software (e.g. data visualization and impact modeling) to conduct analyses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated
    ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
  • Proven effectiveness working in a team-based environment, but capable also of working independently.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite:
  • Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft
  • Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
    Coordinate Human Resources local projects.

    Required Skills

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree (preferred) in Business Administration, Economics, Public Health, or equivalent advanced degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in market analysis.
  • Experience working with healthcare products: vaccines, drugs, diagnostics, and/or medical devices (in developing countries or emerging markets preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience with scenario-based market models, sensitivity analysis, or similar methodologies for framing and articulating results to drive strategic decisions.
  • Experience in assessing both private and public sector markets.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in South Africa.
