Job Description

  • The job holder will be responsible for the development of distribution strategy in order to meet sales targets.


  • Support the ROs in micro and group loans for business growth through initiatives of marketing activities for new business sign ups, new partnerships etc.

  • Attend and participate in all Branch Credit Committee meetings.

  • Ensure compliance to current Credit Policy, procedures, processes, memos and circulars as may be issued from time to time

  • Monitor the portfolio quality of the branch on a daily basis and proactively institute remedial actions.

  • Manage, motivate and train loan officers to ensure productivity is optimized and level of staff competency is continuously upgraded.

  • Facilitate proper on boarding of new staff through coaching and mentoring.

  • To resolve all audit and operational excellence queries at their branch/satellite while ensuring no repeat findings.

  • To manage staff leave in accordance to the leave policy guidelines and those exiting branch to ensure smooth transitions and clients service continuity.

  • Ensure compliance to current procedures, processes, memos and circulars as may be issued from time to time.

  • To ensure daily validation of loan disbursement reports, account opening report, maintenance of updated Group Master Files for each group at the branch.

  • Manage key business
    relationships, any community based partnerships

  • Ensure high standards of customer service within the branch and satellite offices.

  • Carry out control self-assessment and surprise visits/calls to groups/individual customers for quality assurance.

  • Manage relationships with external service providers e.g. Valuers, lawyers, auctioneers, debt collectors etc.

  • Perform other related jobs that maybe assigned, as necessary, from time to time depending on the requirements of the business

  • Bachelor of Commerce Honours (BCom Hons): Micro Finance (Required).
