Requirements for appointment

  • Served in the grade of Administrative Officer Il for a minimum of two (2) years or other comparable and relevant position in the Public Service or Private Sector;

  • A Bachelor's Degree in any Social Science or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;

  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

  • Meets Chapter Six (6) of the constitution of Kenya 2010; Integrity, Honesty and Accountability.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    An officer at this level will be responsible to the Senior Administrative Officer for assigned Administrative function. Specifically, duties and responsibilities will entail: -

  • Monitor the achievement of divisional targets to ensure realization of organizational goals

  • Ensure the Implementation of administration division resolutions and instructions of the Deputy Director Central Facilitation Services for
    effective service delivery

  • Supervision and provision of staff with visionary leadership that harnesses the strengths of individuals and promotes their performances ta ensure that the administration function in ODPP adopts and delivers consistent, reliable and high standards of customer service,

  • Conduct general cleanliness of the office to ensure compliance with the occupation
    Safety and Health Act and the ODPPF policies, and to create a
    conducive working environment for the ODPP

  • Pay bills for services provided to ODPP as instructed in a prompt manner, to ensure continued service provision to ODPP by supplies

  • Assist in the preparation of training documents to enhance efficiency in the training process,

  • Provide travel assistance to ODPP staff as required, to ensure staff are able to travel as planned in the delivery of service

  • Provide messengerial services to ODPP staff to enhance efficiency in the delivery of service

  • Provide transport, messengerial and secretarial services

  • Arrange the office equipment and furniture to ensure the office is organized and that there is efficient utilization of space

  • Supervise the performance: of staff at junior positions in the division, to ensure delivery against set timelines and quality standards, in the delivery of the division work plan.
