Job Purpose
Acquire and nurture new client relationships in the high‑net‑worth segment.
Deliver bespoke banking solutions to affluent clients (SBS, professionals, financially affluent).
Provide exceptional client experiences by understanding business and household banking needs.
Job Responsibilities
Acquire and deliver banking solutions to high‑value clients.
Improve client service by tailoring products and services to client needs.
Maintain and build a portfolio of complex, high‑value clients.
Identify and execute client sales/solution opportunities.
Conduct thorough needs analysis across all spheres of financial influence.
Build and maintain effective professional relationships with high‑profile clients.
Collaborate with specialists to cross‑sell and create value‑based solutions.
Ensure compliance with risk standards, policies, and procedures.
Facilitate client compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Escalate operational problems and recommend process improvements.
Manage client expectations in line with risk and credit policy.
Support business strategy by aligning systems, processes, and solutions.
Pursue personal development and career progression through training.
Share industry knowledge with team and stakeholders.
Contribute to Nedbank’s culture and transformation goals.
Participate in corporate responsibility initiatives.
Seek opportunities to improve business processes and add value.
Essential Qualifications – NQF Level
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Advanced Diplomas / National First Degrees.
Preferred Qualification
Degree in Business,
Finance, or Marketing (e.g., B.Comm, BBus Sc).
Essential Certifications
FAIS Representative (RE5 essential).
Preferably a Key Individual.
Class of Business – Short and Long‑term Investments.
Minimum Experience Level
Minimum 5 years in a banking environment (2 years as a relationship banker).
