Job Purpose

  • To assist in managing and enabling Nedbank Insurance digital channels to deliver financial services to bank clients' and achieve team results thus contributing to achieving the banks strategic objectives, financial results and market share.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure take up of NI products via Nedbank digital platforms by running campaigns and identifying efficiencies.

  • Lead the conversation around optimisation of digital channels to enable for a seamless customer experience across the digital channels.

  • Propose, execute and monitor digital campaigns run via direct marketing initiatives.

  • Measure client satisfaction. Improve service, gathering feedback from clients and other stakeholders and taking corrective based on feedback received.

  • Build collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Build relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including product providers both internal and external.

  • Ensure the latest product information is reflected across all the digital properties where NI products are sold or marketed.

  • Ensure transformational targets are met.

  • Contribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives,business strategy, and CSI.

  • Participate in the development and implement action plans to address issues raised in culture surveys to improve results.

  • Create a client service culture. Achieve operational excellent.

  • Encourage team to generate innovative ideas and share knowledge.

  • Identify performance gaps per channel and suggest ways to close these gaps.

  • Stay abreast in field of expertise and deliver on the expectations from stakeholders by identifying current and future digital needs.

  • Embrace the Nedbank vision and values by leading by example. Manage the onboarding process of new digital channels or partners.

  • Ensure compliance with all bank and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure all services delivered are compliant with both Group standards and national legislative requirements.

    People Specification

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

    Preferred Qualification

  • Degree or Certificate in Project Management (would be preferred).

    Essential Certifications

  • Certified Financial Planning Certificate.

    Type of Exposure

  • Conducting performance appraisal interviews.

  • Conducting performance feedback meetings.

  • Implementing a strategic plan.

  • Checking performance data to measure employee performance.

  • Investigating and reviewing processes to improve client satisfaction.

  • Assuming a key leadership role.

    Minimum Experience Level

  • Minimum 2 years enabling or looking after digital or virtual channels, preferably in financial services, with exposure to the range of experience identified above.

  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, call centre and digital in a channel management / KAM role will be advantageous.

  • Experience in running or being an integral part of a project.
