We are looking foe a qualified and experienced results oriented professional to fill the following vacancy.

Job Title: Commercial Manager/ Print —1 Position

Reports to: General Manager Commercial NMG - Uganda Department Advertising

Job Purpose: To formulate and coordinate strategic advertising plans and to implement them to ensure growth of advertising revenue and share of Monitor Publications Limited.

Main Responsibilities

Design& implement strategies that drive customer growth and retention across all sectors and deliver revenue growth.

Design work plans that grow presence in the market place and guide the sales team in there day today Wes activities

Track the sales team performance on a daily, weekly end monthly and regularly communicate the status of their performance.

Carries out regular sales meetings with staff to review sales progress and maintain good employee relations to ensure the highest degree of retention, morale and discipline.

Mentor and coach the team and regularly carry our performance management reviews as per Monitor Publications Ltd guidelines.

Ensure Sales contracts are in place with the appropriate clients and Identify their associates and follows up and resolves any complaints and keep the General

Manager Commercial informed.

Assists the Business Managers and sales team in designing winning concepts and resolving client issues/complaints
AMOR al Mr1. for AM.

Maintains close liaison with relevant departments and makes monthly sales and collection reports to the General Manager Commercial.

Review debt status of the clients' accounts to determine credit worthiness and recommend necessary action.

Coordinate activities with the General Manager Commercial and other managers to achieve teamwork In the department and enhance the cross functional potential.

Ability to deliver under minimum supervision.

Ability to be an agent of change In a dynamic environment.

Drive the convergence agenda through championing and supervision of joint initiatives with other commercial managers.

Qualification/Experience:

Academic:

A bachelor's degree n arty business-related course or equivalent

Professional: Past graduate qualification is Ideal

Experience At least 5 years of relevant sales experience In an FMCG industry, with at least 2 years at management level

Core Competencies:

Computer literacy especially In Power Point. Word and Spreadsheets

Ability to develop and communicate a clear strategy
