Nairobi City County Public Service Board Nursing Officer - Locum Jobs in Kenya



Job Requirements

  • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery, or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution.

  • Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.

  • Valid practising license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

    Job Description

  • Assess, plan, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes.

  • Provide healthcare services including IMCI, immunization, PMTCT, antenatal care, delivery, administering treatment, and dispensing drugs.

  • Offer health education and counselling to patients, clients, and communities on identified health needs.

  • Refer patients and clients appropriately.

  • Facilitate patient admission and initiate discharge plans.

  • Maintain accurate records on patient health condition and care.

  • Ensure a tidy and safe clinical environment.

  • Collect and compile healthcare data.
