Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent.

  • Registration Certificate from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).

  • Valid practising license from KMLTTB.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.

    Job Description

  • Receive and scrutinize laboratory requisition forms and specimens.

  • Collect, label, and register patient specimens.

  • Prepare reagents, stains, and examine specimens.

  • Record and report results.

  • Recruit and prepare blood donors for transfusion services.

  • Perform blood grouping and screen for transfusion infections.

  • Store and issue blood products.

  • Process specimens according to SOPs.
