Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine or equivalent; OR Bachelor’s degree in Community Health, Psychology, Public Health, Medical Education, Health Systems Management, Medical Sociology, Ophthalmology, Sports Medicine, or Health Promotion plus Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.

  • Certificate of Registration from Clinical Officers’ Council.

  • Valid Professional Practice License from Clinical Officers’ Council.

    Job Description

  • Provide clinical services in health facilities.

  • Take history, examine, investigate, diagnose, and treat patients.

  • Order and interpret laboratory and imaging investigations.

  • Conduct ward rounds and make referrals.

  • Carry out surgical procedures within scope of training.

  • Implement clinical guidelines and quality assurance standards.

  • Provide medico‑legal reports and services.

  • Undertake disease surveillance and control.

  • Guide and counsel patients, clients, and staff.

  • Conduct research on emerging health issues.

  • Provide outreach and school health services.

  • Mentor students and interns.
