Job Purpose:
To work under supervision of Senior Library Assistants in the execution of general duties as follows:

• Manning service points (Circulation Desk, short loan).

• Registration of all reading materials.

• Library membership registration.

• Evening and week duties.

• Labeling/stamping/sensitizing materials etc.

• Shelving and self-reading materials retrieval work
• Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 Credits or better.

• Certificate in Library Studies (Cert. Lib.) from a recognized Institution.

• Must be Computer literate.

• Ability to use Library Management Systems.

• At least 25 years old.

• At least two (02) years working experience in a busy Library.
