Mr Price Group Value Chain Coordinator Mr Price Jobs in South Africa;The Value Chain Coordinator will analyse sourcing and supply chain metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. The role involves leading enhancement projects, partnering with sourcing and supply chain teams, and ensuring optimal performance across the pipeline.

Responsibilities

Analysis & Investigation

  • Monitor and analyse key supply chain and sourcing metrics.

  • Identify risks, opportunities, and efficiency improvements.

  • Investigate ways to reduce costs and waste while maximizing profitability.

  • Support sourcing and merchandising teams on queries regarding port lead days, ship‑by dates, and closure periods.

    Communication & Reporting

  • Communicate shipment delays and quantify impact on the order book.

  • Liaise with the shipping team on approvals, container, and shipping issues.

  • Implement processes for goods returned due to recalls, SOR, or quality defects.

  • Compile, evaluate, and analyse reports on key supply chain measures to maintain agility and optimization.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics (Mandatory).

  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.

  • Expertise in supply chain and sourcing processes.

  • Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and effective communication.

  • Relationship management, process orientation, project management, and presentation skills.

  • Overall business acumen.
