Mr Price Group Assistant Store Manager Power Fashion Germiston Ronderbult Jobs in South Africa; The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, and driving sales initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, administrative skills, and the ability to maintain productivity and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Relieve the Store Manager in their absence.

  • Manage banking of money and oversee cash office operations.

  • Maintain company standards in housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline, and security.

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and front‑end controls.

  • Assist in staff management, training, and performance oversight.

  • Introduce sales initiatives to achieve store targets.

  • Minimize stock loss and ensure effective customer service.

    Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics advantageous) or NQF Level 4.

  • Previous experience managing people and departments.

  • Clothing retail experience highly advantageous.

  • Strong communication and administrative skills.

  • Decision‑making ability, organizational and planning skills.

  • Leadership qualities with enthusiasm, integrity, and proactivity.

  • Self‑motivated with high ethical standards.
