Duties & Responsibilities

Client Service & Communication

  • Maintain high‑quality communication with clients.

  • Provide accurate and timely responses to client and provider queries.

    Optical Claims & Approvals Management

  • Achieve and maintain agreed optical approval Turnaround Times (TATs).

  • Conduct clinical validation of prescriptions, lens choices, and diagnoses to prevent fraud or inappropriate costing.

  • Monitor and retain Optical TAT reports; share summaries with management.

    Cost Management & Provider Negotiations

  • Drive annual cost savings through discount negotiations and fraud detection.

  • Negotiate reduced optical costs.

  • Conduct provider quality assurance audits annually and prepare recommendation reports.

  • Perform any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Valid professional practicing license.

  • Strong knowledge of optical products, diagnostics, claims processes, and fraud detection.

  • Proficiency in healthcare management systems and MS Office Suite.
