Do you think there are too many stories about young women that aren't being shared? Are you keen to drive conversation and change while you work with a small, dedicated team to create content for South African women? W24 is looking for a storyteller who loves creating content using words, images and video.

Responsibilities

  • Come up with engaging and compelling story ideas,
  • Write and edit articles,
  • Load articles into the content management system,
  • Research stories and trends both online and IRL,
  • Phone sources and do interviews,
  • Source and resize images,
  • Shoot and edit video.
  • Attend and report on industry events

    Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in journalism, media or a related field,
  • A proven interest in creating interesting content in words, images and video,
  • Able to work Monday to Friday,
  • Familiar with the W24 editorial voice and aesthetic,
  • Excellent command of the English language.
