Key, Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching, examining and grading students at both Graduate and Undergraduate level.

Plan, develop, and implement course curricula including curricula to be delivered via several models of teaching & learning.

Supervision research for Undergraduate and Graduate Students.

Mentoring of Junior Staff.

Conducting research and community outreach activities.

Writing proposals for attracting funding to the Department.

Any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Required Qualifications

A PhD in Political Science_ Specializing in Political Science or Political Economy or Comparative Politics or International Relations or Public Administration from a recognized Institution.

Master’s degree in Political Science, with Specialization in Political Science or Political Economy or Comparative Politics or International Relations or Public Administration from a recognized Institution.

An honors BA in Social Sciences with major in Political Science.

Tenure of Appointment Permanent

Age Limit 59 years
