Purpose of the Job

  • To assist in the general administration and management of the Academic Registry's function at the Faculty/ School/ Department.

    Key Functions

    ⦁ To provide Secretariat to the Board and or departmental meetings.

    ⦁ To maintain records of students, staff, and departmental correspondences.

    ⦁ To liaise with all the divisions in the Department of the Academic Registrar on matters pertaining to the admission, registration, examination, programme reviews and students' statistics.

    ⦁ To process and present student results to the various committees.

    Key Outputs

    ⦁ Meetings organized and minutes taken.

    ⦁ Records kept well.

    ⦁ Matters pertaining to admission, registration, examination, programme reviews and students statistics followed up.

    ⦁ Results captured and presented to different committees

    Person Specification

    ⦁ A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.

    ⦁ Relevant working experience would be an added advantage.

    ⦁ Good interpersonal and effective communication skills.

    ⦁ High level of integrity.

    ⦁ Computer Literate.

    ⦁ Fluent in English language.
